June Charity Costa Mesa: Newport Beach Junior Lifeguards

Started in 2012 by a group of former Newport Beach Junior Lifeguards,  the Newport Beach Junior Lifeguards Foundation is a privately funded, non-profit corporation created with the support from the City of Newport Beach to “preserve, complement, and enhance the City of Newport Beach Junior Lifeguard Program.

We, at Grit Cycle, are proud to sponsor the NBJLF for the month of June.

One of the main goals of the NBJLF is to build a headquarters for the Newport Beach Junior Lifeguards. Their goal is $500,000.00. As of today they have raised $89,875.00. Individuals or businesses who donate $1,000 or more will have their name permanently displayed on the new Newport Beach Junior Lifeguard headquarters building donor wall.

This flagship building will be instrumental to our Newport Beach Junior Lifeguard program. Every year this incredible, life-saving program grows in size and influence; it will be a benefit, both to our community and junior guards, to have an official and legitimate space for their development and execution.

We at Grit Cycle are helping to contribute to this new facility, with a Karma Ride, lead by Chelsea + Dani, on Sunday June 11th, at 12pm where all the proceeds will go to the Newport Beach Junior Lifeguards Foundation. We hope you can join us. Remember to buy a Karma class before you book.

Have a great weekend Gritties.
