Here’s a little more grit on our Chelsea-girl:

unnamed-1
Chelsea, tell us a bit about yourself:
I’m born and raised right here in Orange County! I went to Huntington Beach High School and my husband, Trever, attended Newport Harbor. It’s safe to say we are locals. We have two children together, Blakely who just turned 5 on February 4th and Stryder who is 2 ½. We are currently building our family home with the help of my father-in-law and Gregory Builders- hoping it’ll be done by the end of the year… We are probably the only people in the OC who don’t want El Nino weather so we can keep on building. Oh, and I used to own and operate two barre studios where I taught barre for five years!

What brought you to the grit podium?
It’s too great of a workout to not want to become part of the team!

What was your first experience in the Saddle Room?
Challenging yet satisfying!

 What motivates you/inspires you?
A room full of people cheering each other on!

What do you do when you’re not getting gritty?
I’m a mother of two, Blakely (5) and Stryder (2) so I’m typically playing Barbies and trucks. You can also find me at the beach, on a family hike, baking, crafting, or hanging with my closest girlfriends.

What’s your favorite “move” on the bike and why?
Motorcycles! I love a fast song you can dance to.

 What is your favorite food?
Anything sweet! I have the worst sweet tooth and I LOVE to bake!

 Who is your celebrity crush?
That’s easy– Leonardo DiCaprio

What song instantly gets you dancing?
Right now I’d say it’s “Wrong” by MAX.

Do you have a secret talent?
I can probably beat you in a pull-ups competition.

 Last book you read?
The Husband’s Secret by Liana Moriarty.

What would your last meal be?
Mexican Food and Susie Cakes celebration cake.

What was the first concert you went to?
B52s with my Dad!

In high school what were you most likely to….?
Most likely to be a spin instructor obviously.

Who would play you in a movie?
Cameron Diaz.

What’s your biggest guilty pleasure?
Cookie Dough.
